Little by little we lose our shyness

Yolanda Bosen Reyes was born in Siakualaya and moved to the farm by the river to be with her husband, Arturo. She says women can find it difficult to speak in an interview, even in Miskito. In a larger group, they are more able to join in, as she remembers from the first assembly with Paskaia. Communicating with Spanish speakers adds another barrier, but repeated visits are helping her learn.
